(HONG KONG, Sep. 26, 2017) On September 26th, 2017, the 2016-2017 awarding ceremony of the Good MPF Employer Award, held by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (“MPFA”) with firm support from some of the most representative employer associations, labor unions and professional body including The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, among others, was held at Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre (“HITEC”). With its consistent people-oriented principle and employee-focus policy, HL&C Employment Agency Ltd. (hereinafter referred to shortly as HL&C), an agency providing professional employment services for Philippine, Indonesian and Thai helpers with over 25 years of practical experience, is honored as a Good MPF Employer and presented with e-Contribution Award. HL&C is one of the few companies that receive the two awards at the same time, which definitely is an acknowledgement on HL&C’s employee focus and policy and pursues its favorable practice to all walks of life.

  • HL&C encourages and supports employees to attend skill training programs of various kinds, and lays stress on employees’ skill enhancement and value appreciation.

  • HL&C involves employees in the Smoking Cessation Program in Workplace held by The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society and arranges those employees who smoke to attend relevant lectures for them to clearly see the harm smoking does to physical health. This involvement demonstrates HL&C’s concern of employees’ health conditions, and advocates that health condition be valued both in workplace and daily lives. HL&C was awarded the Smoke-free Company Recognition 2015/16.
  • In honor of HL&C’s various caring policies and actions, HL&C was awarded by the Home Affairs Bureau with the “Family-friendly Employers 2015/16 Award” and “Awards for Breastfeeding Support 2015/16”, implying that HL&C has been continuously caring for its employees.
