7E. Hong Kong Currency

The unit of currency is the Hong Kong dollar (HK$), issued by the Bank of China, Hong Kong Bank, and the Standard Chartered Bank in HK$1,000, $500,$100 and $20 notes. Nickel and bronze coins are issued for HK$10, silver coins for $5, $2, and $1; bronze coins for 50-20 and 10-cents.

Automated teller machines (ATM) are widespread. The use of major credit cards are also authorized. Currency exchange rates fluctuate with time. Finance Companies and Banks usually offer the best rates.
